Description: Can be used as a side dish or snack on its own. If you find it dry try serving it with ketchup to encourage your toddler to try it. |
Ingredients: 6oz/170gram can of Tuna
1 egg
1/2 to 1 cup of bread crumbs
1 tbsp whole wheat or regular flour
vegtable oil
salt, pepper, parsley
|
Directions: 1] drain the can of tuna, pre-heat oven 375F
2] place egg, pinch of parsley, salt and pepper in bowl
3] add bread crumbs and mix
4] add tbsp of flour
5] divide mixture into small balls, about 15
6] chill 10 minutes in refridgerator
7] oil baking sheet, place tuna balls on it and brush
tops with more oil
8] bake 15-20min till golden brown on outside
9] serve hot or cold as snack or even as a side dish.
Maybe add ketchup for dipping (I found them a little dry
and ketchup is a good way to get kids to try new things). |
